Hana and Maya are a dedicated duo

Maya and Hana love doing everything together.  Even when they are complaining about each other, they don’t actually want the other one to leave.  Yesterday was the sweetest example yet:  Maya cried loudly for an hour at bedtime while we tried to put medicine in her eye, which has a minor irritation (not the shiner you see here–that’s from chasing the dog and falling).  Hana was already tucked in (theoretically), but she stood by her door, hugging T-bone, very concerned.  When Maya finally emerged, Hana bolted out and touched Maya’s chest and said “Maya, are you OK?” and hugged her so tightly.  It made our hearts melt.

This afternoon I have some bonus Hana time, and she taught me that T-bone is actually related to her bunny.  No, really–she is convinced.  Also, Hana does not need naps.  Maybe you have heard.
