A (relatively) quiet house

It is so much quieter around here tonight, and not just because our jumbo jets are in bed.  Amna and Fatima left today, and it is such a HUGE bummer.  Amna was here for seven weeks, and it was awesome–great food, so much help with the kids, a girlfriend to gossip with.  Then Fatima arrived and it added that much more fun.  Maya assigned teams (based at one point on where the toothbrushes were placed in the bathroom).  The blogger and spouse were not assigned to a team.  I believe it was Fatima and Maya on one team and Amna and Hana on the other, but it was pretty much between the popular kids.

Both kids were so sad all afternoon that they left–but it was an awesome summer.  Looking forward to NEXT summer (and seeing Fatima sooner)!  Hint, hint!
