Maya is a pastry chef

Today was one of my Fridays off, and after a trying start, Maya was a great helper baking chocolate chip cookies during Hana’s nap. Most of the time, it was Maya’s turn to make the lumps of dough. Maya likes to manage our lives precisely. It is always someone’s turn.

This afternoon we all went to Costco, which Maya loves, because Maya loves shopping carts. Hana was kind of tense, so Maya kept reassuring her and rubbing her back. It was adorable. And everyone got free snacks–double bonus.
