Blast from the recent past: Maya at the beach

Maya really REALLY enjoyed the beach in Monterey (yes, I am just now posting photos from vacation).  I mean, she went nuts.  She loved everything about it–the sand, the water, the massive danger of possibly drowning, the possibility of getting all of the sand in the world into the car and our cottage–oh, the possibilities!  Now we carry sand toys with us everywhere…just in case a beach appears out of the blue.  You never know.
