Maya is storing food for the winter
Maya
had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at Happy Hollow today, and as
usual, she stuffed 1⁄4 of it in her mouth, and marched around without
swallowing it. What is that? Does she think she needs to store up food
in her cheeks in case we forget to feed her later? I mean, eventually
she swallows it, but it can get pretty gross first.
Right now, Maya is having “rest time” with us after a bed-wetting
incident, and she is cracking us up. She just told me to GET UP out of
the chair I’m sitting in, and laughed and said “no no no, mommy” when I
suggested she sit with daddy instead. She’s also singing loud songs to
Lola. I don’t know how Hana is sleeping through all of this.
