Action needed: the blog is changing...

Loyal readers, hi! Mustafa here. I’ve been asked by the blogger to lock down access to this blog to only readers that we personally know. I will make that change in a week (on June 5th); after that time, you will need to be logged in to your Google account to read about your favourite Jamils. (As part of this change, I’m also disabling site feeds and search engine indexing.)

Don’t have a Google account? Please create one. If you use Google’s free email service, gmail, you already have such an account. If you don’t, and don’t want to use gmail, don’t worry. Creating a Google account does require you to have an email account to sign in with, but it doesn’t have to be a gmail account; you can use any existing email account as your login.

Before June 5th, then, I’d appreciate it if you could email me at [email protected] with the email address associated with your Google account (and do identify yourself if the email address doesn’t make it obvious who you are). I will then enable access for you.

After June 5th, if you aren’t logged in via a Google account, and go to itsthejamils.com, you’ll see a screen like the following prompting you to log in…

Once you’ve logged in (with an email address you’ve told me about), you’ll be able to view the blog as usual.
