We are in trouble

Maya is definitely going to use her cuteness against us, in all sorts of clever ways. The blogger is decently clever herself, but the blogger’s spouse is definitely outmatched. Maya can get anything she wants out of him. It is actually kind of fun to watch. She definitely has Gams and Grandpa wrapped around her grubby little fingers, but Susy knows her tricks (Maya greets everyone by name now, not just the dogs–ha).

There will be a cute explosion this summer when the Jamil kids get together with their cousins for my grandmother’s memorial service. A sad occasion, but we’re all excited to be together and have our kids spend some time together in a place that means so much to us from our childhood, Los Osos (near Morro Bay). Of course, many photos to come…and maybe some guest blogging from cousin Jenni?
