Maya is prepared for the storm

It has been very stormy here in Fremont, and Maya is prepared. Lucas loaned her this stylish raincoat for the winter, which has puppies on it. I got her galoshes for Christmas, but I gave them to her early, so she could stomp in some puddles. I tried to put them on her for the first rainy walk to Valorie’s house, but she threw a massive tantrum. Of course, on the return walk that evening, there was no problem, because Valorie had put them on her feet, and now Maya is totally obsessed with them. Maya wears galoshes with her pajamas, with only a diaper on…you name it. All galoshes, all the time. She can even say “galoshes”.
