Maya and Hana go to the zoo

We decided to go to the Oakland zoo on Sunday morning, so Hana could take a look around, and Maya could practice her animal noises. It was also the inaugural trip for our double stroller, which went really well–Maya mainly sat down or stood in her designated area. Favorites: the otters (“BATH! BATH!”–pictured below), the petting zoo (future post). Dislikes: the macaw talking even louder than Maya (causing loud crying), the rainstorm after an hour. We joined the zoo, so there will be many zoo posts in the future. It was loads of fun, and we didn’t even make it to the lions and hippos.
