Maya enjoys mac and cheese

Maya enjoys examining her food before eating it. Often, you have to jam the first bite into her mouth, she protests as if you have poisoned her, and then she opens her mouth wide and shovels food in as if she is storing it for winter. With mac and cheese from her fave place, Chow, there is no persuasive stage–just examination, and straight into the pie-hole, as Susy says. She gobbles it right up. JUMBO.

In other Maya news, Maya has a new best friend, Valorie’s new puppy Molly. Valorie reported that Maya got “aggressive” with Molly today, pulling her tail. I was horrified, and not at all shocked, since many time outs in our house revolve around Maya attempting to rearrange Lola’s body parts for her own amusement.
