Maya is going back to school, ignoring the rules

My mom bought Maya this super-cute polka dot vest–it reminded her of back-to-school clothes. Maya LOVES it and wants to wear it all of the time.

Maya also likes to wear her tennis shoes without socks (shoe and sock are two of her favorite words). Sadly, this violates one of daddy’s rules, so we normally can’t leave the house with the no-sock look. I secretly allowed it on this day, and she looks pretty cute, especially in combination with short shorts and her chubby little legs.

Note: readers are correct to wonder why Mustafa, fashion icon that he is, establishes rules related to clothes/hair/style. Suffice it to say that the blogger tires of the debate, or ignores the rules.
