Baby cuteness overload

I am so far behind, it is sad, sad, sad. I was SO happy last month when our friends from Seattle, Signe and Chris, dropped by for a few hours so I could meet their son Satchel, and they could meet Maya! Signe and Chris are fans of the blog, and Maya is a fan of showing her toys to slightly younger men, so it was the perfect situation for everyone. It was also baby cuteness overload. We managed not to explode, but it was hard.

Satchel was brave enough to try the slide with his dad’s help, and Maya was pretty impressed, considering she did not even attempt to slide until well after she turned 1. Maya loaned Satchel her high chair, and I noted, for Maya’s benefit, that Satchel still believes in eating things that grow on trees/in the ground without a) spazzing out; b) throwing them; and c) needing them to be hidden in order to get our daily intake. She was nonplussed.
