Shhh, the baby is sleeping...

This is what Maya looks like sleeping in the back of the car (which she doesn’t do very often anymore). Mustafa has a mirror attached to the seat, so he can spy on her at all times. We still have her back-facing, because of course Mustafa did 20394802934 hours of research, and it is apparently safest to keep a baby back-facing as long as possible. According to Maya, it is also very boring, so she brings along a cold sippy cup of milk, an Elmo puppet, a baby cell phone, and a couple of books to entertain her. Also entertaining: throwing each item to the far corners of the car, and screaming until Mommy contorts her body and retrieves them. FUN!
