Tea Time

Aunt Linda and Uncle Gordon sent Maya this tea set for Christmas, and it was the perfect gift. Mustafa enjoys multiple cups of tea during the day, and now Maya can prepare some of them–musical tea, alphabet tea, and tea that makes a bubbly sound when you tip it over. She likes to carry the pot around, offering tea service to Lola (a fan of all beverages) and me (not a tea drinker).

Mustafa has been drinking many cups of tea lately because he’s been working super-late, and, of course, Maya lets me make those cups. Babies aren’t allowed to stay up late just to cook, silly!
