Maya is one!

Today is Maya’s first birthday, which means lots of deep and meaningful thoughts, but also, more toys and books. She got this cool rocking bike and lots of fun books from her Dadi and Dada (and her Abbu even managed to put it together last night without losing a finger!). We played and read this morning before heading to Valorie’s house.

Her super stylish fuzzy jacket was a gift from Aunt Susy. Clearly, because I don’t pick out such cool things, and we know from past posts (and just looking at him) that Mustafa is style-challenged. She looks SO CUTE and SO WARM in it. We walked around outside extra long today just to keep the cute coat on!
