Maya is pleased

Maya has been in a super mood lately, when she isn’t screaming in pain from those terrible teeth. She is currently obsessed with cheese (shocking), and yesterday was tickled pink when we had a late afternoon snack of shredded cheese and blueberries. She just could not stop laughing. I mean, I tell funny jokes, and Lola was up to her usual kitchen antics (pictures to come), but come on. She just had a case of the giggles.

Today, Maya is taking an extra-long nap, which is good, because we are doing two things she loves later this afternoon: going to IKEA (insert groans from Mustafa) to purchase some curtains for her room (sometimes it is too light to nap in there); and buying an Elmo balloon for her little party tomorrow. I suspect the giggle monster will greet the Elmo balloon, but you never know.
