Motorboating

“Motorboating” is a Rebecca-made verb used to describe Maya’s daily desire to smile, stick her tongue out, and blow bubbles simultaneously. This is often followed by laughter. It’s far more fun to experience than to read about, but we’ve been unable to display this behaviour here on the blog until very recently: Sandi and Tom got us a new video camera for Christmas, and so I’ve been trying to take as many videos of Maya as possible. Since she loves motorboating so much, most of the videos show her doing it. Here are my early favourites…
