Merry Christmas Eve

If you haven’t received our holiday card yet, here are the photos. Simon took the top one at our dear friends Jill and Peter’s home; Maya is all grins because our whole little family of friends was standing behind Simon doing silly things to keep her smiling and laughing!

Mustafa and I had less success getting a sophisticated shot of Maya and Lola on the sofa at our home and ended up with this funny one. It captures their relationship perfectly.

Christmas eve is my favorite day of the year, hands down. I love the music and lights and food part of this holiday. And for kids, I love the Santa/anticipation-of-presents part, and I’m happy it is part of my world again.
