Pumpkin for our pumpkin

Last weekend we established a Jamil family tradition (I am big on this). We took Maya to Ardenwood Farm in Fremont to select a pumpkin, and it was fantastic! Ardenwood is an actual organic farm in our fair city of Fremont, and the pumpkin festivities are a yearly event. It was packed, and Maya had a great time in her hat (a little snug on her large head), looking at all the other kids.

The measurement is probably a little off, but we’ll keep track every year. We also bought some butternut squash and I made soup last night. Yay Halloween!
