Maya is a pro

Today we went to Sears photo studio and had some family photos taken before Mustafa’s parents left for Rancho. Of course, the very best ones were of Maya (the most awesome member of the family), who was cheerful and adorable, despite needing a nap and a bottle.

A note on the ensemble: we bought this dress the day we found out our little bump was a girl. I was so, so excited and made Mustafa take me shopping. Today was Maya’s first big chance to wear her fancy dress. I have to admit, she is her (maternal) grandmother’s child, because she was mainly angry when I put it on her, and very happy to return to stretchy pants and a stylish shirt.
