Maya can sit (and throw things)

Yesterday, Maya really perfected the art of sitting on her own. Since she has dozens of toys, this was a revelation–now the world of play has opened up. Even when she falls over, she giggles and flips onto her tummy and slithers around.

Lola finds all of this a bit disturbing–why would someone *want* to sit, especially when there is no cookie involved? Fool.
