Maya is slightly smug

Sorry for the slow blogging, but rest assured, people, I’ve been taking plenty of pictures. Maya continued her savage tear through new foods, tackling multigrain cereal and pureed carrots this week (potatoes this afternoon). The high chair continues to be extremely popular, as does rubbing food through the hair and throwing the block (a critical part of the meal) on the floor.

Maya has started log-rolling, although she likes to do it mainly at Valorie’s house, where there are more exciting things to roll toward. She is also EXTREMELY chatty. She wakes me up with lots of super-interesting jokes and stories, shouted from her crib.
