Maya demands variety

We’ve discovered that Maya prefers oatmeal to rice cereal. These pictures are still of the first rice cereal experience, but it is the same giggling, grinning, messy high chair fun every time. She gobbled up two oat-meals today (ha!). Yesterday’s other exciting event was a surprise visit from Aunt Heather, who was in Fremont on official business as intrepid reporter for the SF Chronicle. She stopped in for a minute, and Maya showed her how to Jumparoo. I think Heather was pretty impressed.
Incidentally, Maya has become very possessive of her toys, so don’t even think of taking her Jumparoo, or anything else. If I take even the smallest toy away, she kind of freaks out. She’s also enjoying a stuffed animal friend at bedtime, which is right in line with mommy.
