Maya is very messy

Mustafa was opposed to using the high chair this morning (the high chair that *I* built last night, thank you very much), but I stuck to my guns, and Maya and I agree, it is pretty much the best thing ever. First of all, Maya can make a TON of noise on the tray with the appropriate musical instruments (an empty bowl and spoon). Second, look how tall the baby is!! Third, it is an excellent staging ground for the amazing mess that 1 tablespoon of rice cereal can make.

She’s pretty happy with the whole experience, can you tell? We have like a million pictures and some cute video (hold your horses, mom), which I will dole out like the all-powerful blogger that I am.
