Maya is awesome

Today Maya went for her 6 month check-up, which is amazing, because how could Maya possibly be six months old? There’s really no way. She is thriving, of course, and tomorrow (or perhaps tonight) is the big event: Maya gets to chow down on some real food. Considering that she tried to sneak a bite of my chicken just now, she’s ready for the variety.

For those keeping score, Maya weighs 18 lbs, 14 oz and is 26 inches tall. Still in the 90th percentile of awesomeness.

Right now she’s jumparooing and chattering away. I took the day off to make sure she was OK with the vaccinations, and of course she has been giggling away all day, because she continues to be absolutely hilarious.
