Maya is a lady of letters

Even when you are too tiny to hold a book, there is nothing like a good read with grandma, as Maya learned last Friday. We have storytime every evening before Maya hits the hay, starting with her puffy “Find the Frog” book (her favorite, the yummiest), going next to “Find the ___“ (Puppy/Cow/Rabbit–they all involve a delicious finger puppet that ends up in her mouth), then to “Hippos Go Berzerk” (obviously), and finally to both her “The Mommy Book” and “The Daddy Book” which I *highly* recommend–brightly colored and really cute. She actually follows along for about 20 minutes, but then wants to scream, since it is bedtime.

Still, clearly a prize-winning writer of some kind. And these pictures are just way too cute.
