Maya has no excuse

Sorry for the slow blogging! We’re back now, and I can promise more regular posting for the rest of the week. But I want to prepare Maya’s little fanclub…make sure you are seated for this update…blogging will be a bit more irregular when I (the person who does 95% of the blogging) return to work on Monday. I’ll try to keep you posted on the exciting happenings in the world-o-Maya, of course.

Yesterday was a big day for Maya–she spent her first day with the babysitter that will care for her while I’m at work! She was all smiles when I left her at 9 a.m. and she was happily sucking on her pacifier and kicking her legs up in the air when I returned at 2 p.m. It went really well. I was, of course, freaking out most of the time I was away from her, but Jenni assures me that someday this will get easier…

This is a photo of Maya after a bath, when we make her wear a hat. Maya HATES hats. But she loves her pacifier. She has kind of mixed feelings in this photo.
