Maya meets the world

Sorry for the lack of posts–technical difficulties here at Jamil central, but we’re back! Maya met lots of new friends on Saturday at her open house. It was a big day, so mommy and daddy were mainly occupied with keeping the fussy bus (my mom’s term for screaming Maya) away, and less concerned with taking photos. She had to take a few quiet moments in her room to regroup, but was otherwise a trooper. I think people liked her, but of course I think that, I’m her mom!

Note: I like this photo because she’s showing off her rock-star hair, and her grasping my arm (sort of)–a new trick.
