Ladies who Lunch

It has been quite the long weekend of adventure for Maya. It all started Friday, with a big outing to Lafayette for my mom’s piano recital, where she was a major celebrity, and ended on Monday afternoon, when Heather came out for lunch. We walked to a local restaurant (the pickings are slim here in strip mall central). Maya was offered crackers, but I declined on her behalf. The three of us had a grand time, gossiping, eating, drinking tons of soda/milk, and enjoying all that lovely Fremont has to offer.
