Resting happily

This is Maya resting on Rebecca’s shoulder after having been fed today. She’s still only sleeping a half hour at a time, and she takes a while to nod off, so we’ve both had very little sleep. Breast feeding has been an interesting experience for us to learn about; we’ve gotten much better at it within 24 hours, so we should be experts in a week or so. Currently, it’s a group activity; I’m a required participant who has to adjust pillows and move the baby from one side to the other. I have really enjoyed being involved in doing so. And, since Rebecca has been essentially bed-ridden till just recently, I’ve done almost all of the diaper changes. I don’t know why people make a big deal out of this; it’s easy, and it’s fun to make Maya relax (she loves a clean diaper).
