One Year Ago...the best trip ever!
Hard to believe that our Christmas trip to see Jenny and John Niekrasz
in Edinburgh (with a side trip to Switzerland) was only a year ago.
(They are pictured below in moustaches–a photo we all have displayed in
our homes). We had the best time catching up with them a few weeks ago,
and they brought us the wonderful gift of a framed set of photos from
one of our many nights of hanging out at their home with great cheese,
wine and Scotch (and, for a while, Susan and Damian). Both Mustafa and I
are delighted (!!) that Maya will grow up with baby Niekrasz, due only
10 weeks after Maya’s arrival!
I’m
including photos of us in Lucerne, Switzerland, one of our all-time
favorite cities (top)–absolutely magical. This is Mustafa at the top of
the Swiss Alps, probably one of his favorite days ever.
We all put on fake moustaches for no good reason while driving through Southern Scotland on our last day with Jenny and John…
… and then stopped for a more (ahem) grown-up shot.
